Spent many days on the bay, Leaving Gandy Bait with my shrimp, meeting the charters at the bait store.Meeting them at the bait store gave them a chance to get drinks and load up on beer.Well I guess every one at one time or another went out on the bay with me, at least those that hung out at the old bait store.
Lots of memories there, lots of fish caught, lots of fun after we came in and back to the bait store.
Looking back those were the very best days of my life.

I met at Gandy Bait some of the very best Fishermen in the State of Fl.(and that is a fact)My charters were for fun more than the size of the fish, and I loved every minute of it,nearly 50 years of fooling around on this bay, about 25 years with the Miss Jeanette, to me the greatest boat ever built, I never wanted another after I got her.Many a storm and many a beautiful day.
